Greetings from the Organizing Team of the Young Hematologists Orientation Program (YHOP), Lucknow.

We are delighted to invite you to the 6th Young Hematologists Orientation Program (YHOP), an ideal platform for young hematologists including DM students, DNB students, SRs, Fellows, and Young Faculty. This event is being jointly organized by King George’s Medical University (KGMU), and Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow, on August 21th-23rd, 2026.

The objective of this program is to equip young hematologists with the skills necessary to become independent consultants. Key focus areas include:

  • Best practices in the management of various clinical hematological disorders
  • Conducting clinical research
  • Establishing a BMT unit
  • Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Clinical Hematology, and much more
  • Hematology Quiz featuring practical questions specifically for PG students

Esteemed professors like Prof. Mammen Chandy and Prof. Tapan Saikia, renowned for their expertise in clinical hematology, will coordinate the sessions. We are inviting students from all major institutions across the country that are engaged in clinical hematology, hematology-oncology, pediatric hematology training, and bone marrow transplant fellowship.
